Note that if you hit all the notes, being hit by this attack does not invalidate a flawless victory, even if you somehow lost the shield through other means, but it does if you miss a note, even if you still have enough shield to not take any HP damage.

At tier 3+, she deals the full damage, meaning the player can't miss a note if they don't want to take HP damage. After several seconds of this, Violette hits the player with an undodgeable attack, the damage of which is based on how many notes were played, and her Tier: At tiers 1 and 2, she deals reduced damage, meaning the player can miss some notes and still not take health damage.

The player should also be very wary of taking the Sell Shield pacts from the Shop before the fight is a very bad idea as they drain shield very rapidly, that her attack will likely deal high amounts of damage to the player. Spells and Artifacts that grant Shield are especially handy during Violette's note attack, since it allows the player to miss a few notes and still prevent any HP damage. This buff is applied by launching a note that hits the tile the player is on this can be "dodged" by quickly moving away, and the buff will disappear after a short period if the player doesn't walk back on the tile. When spared, Violette will occasionally appear at the start of battle and buff the player, giving them 40 shields, 3 spell power, and increasing their max mana by 1 for the duration of the battle.

While familiarity with the soundtrack is not required, players should be aware that certain sections of the song feature syncopation that will cause sequences of attacks to hit more rapidly.
